Diversity wins!
Diversity is part of everyday life for us. In a constantly changing world, it is the different perspectives, attitudes and backgrounds that not only keep us together but also help us to move forward.
Different cultures, experiences and skills enrich our lives and enable us to learn from each other and develop further. Diversity promotes tolerance, understanding and respect for one another and thus contributes to a fair society. If we recognize and value diversity in all its forms, together we can build a future in which every individual has the opportunity to develop their full potential in our liberal democracy. We respect and protect the dignity of every individual in word and deed.
Education, intercultural exchange and open discussions can help to overcome prejudices and create understanding for one another. Each and every one of us can help to promote diversity and accordingly make a positive contribution to society.
With the Intercultural Weeks, we are setting an example for respect for the human dignity of all people. We turn against all forms of racism, anti-Semitism and group-focused misanthropy.
